This just makes you want the 90′s all over again. 7L, Esoteric and Wu’s Inspectah Deck collaborate under the name Czarface and bring a fantastic album to us in 2013. At first glance I was expecting a tired and boring album that would make me lament the current state of hip hop and the state of old artists trying to flog a tired horse. Instead what I got was a top notch produced (7L lays down most of the beats) album that you can take from one end to the other and nod your head throughout. Appearances from Action Bronson, Roc Marciano and fellow Wu heads, Cappadonna and Ghostface mean this album stays rocking throughout the 14 tracks. Get this!

The 12th release on the fantastic Pampa label, Herbert gets the remix treatment from DJ Koze for the second track on this release.
Everything goes in circles, “This Feeling” sounds like classic house and garage from the mid 90′s but with distinct 21st century drum programming.
This Russian born, UAE based producer has put out a quality deep house track here on Portuguese based Piston Recordings.
19 year old Chance The Rapper is one of the top talents coming out of the Chicago Hip Hop scene and has been nominated by XXL for new artists to look out for in 2013. “Juice” is the lead single on his upcoming project “Acid Rap”.
Released in 2008 as remixes for the “Black Beauty” album release (on label Mo’s Ferry Prod.) by husband/wife team Dapayk & Padberg, this remix by french duo Noze is spot on.
